Study of the Synergistic Effect of Induction Heating Parameters on Heating Efficiency Using Taguchi Method and Response Surface Method

This work designed an intercalation internal induction heating coil in a mold and drew plate-type steel for the (size: 300 mm × 200 40 mm). First, to explore influence rule of special-shaped coils on effects, temperature rise curve surface was simulated at different depths, currents, frequencies. Next, extent which these three factors affect maximum mean uniformity discussed using Taguchi method analysis variance (ANOVA). Results show that depth current are important influencing target results, while frequency only has small impact. The reaches its peak level when depth, current, respective values 5 mm, 1200 A, KHz optimal can be achieved 7 800 20 KHz, respectively. Finally, synergistic effect results analyzed response (RSM).
